Australian Spatial Analytics (ASA) is one of Australia’s largest and fastest-growing work-integrated social enterprises. We create an inclusive workplace for young neurodivergent adults to undertake professional data services. Since 2020, ASA has provided careers in the Geospatial and Digital Engineering professions for over 200 young neurodivergent adults who may otherwise be unemployed.
Our team uses their unique cognitive talents, such as attention to detail, pattern recognition, and memory retention, to deliver image analysis, data cleansing, and processing for multiple industries, including telecommunications, energy, conservation, travel, and resources.
ASA helps solve Australia’s skills shortages and data sovereignty concerns by accessing an untapped pool of talented and motivated people who perform essential work that otherwise occurs offshore—eliminating modern slavery risks as we pay above-award wages. We consistently deliver professional, award-winning, high-quality data services for real-world projects, specialising in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Survey, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Machine Learning technologies. To date, ASA has provided $12 million worth of projects. We do this while creating enduring social impact for young neurodivergent people who face a 34% unemployment rate by providing stable and meaningful employment—reducing or eliminating their dependence on government funding.
Our team is 80% neurodivergent. We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued so they can reach their full potential. We take a human-centred approach, understanding and leveraging each individual’s strengths, interests and needs. Our goal is to upskill our people and provide progression within ASA, or transition them to our partner clients, enabling their teams to harness neurodivergent strengths through support and training.
At ASA, we use data to employ diversity. Neuro(diversity) is our competitive advantage.
